Over the years we all gather ‘stuff’. Every attic in the country will be full of random things that hold memories and a history all of their own. STUFFIN’TH’ATTIC is the culmination of Carol and Gaynors own collection of curio’s and oddities that they have collected over the years from here, there, and everywhere.
Originally starting as a private collection, Carol and Gaynor have lovingly gathered together a vast variety of Antiques, Memorabilia and curious items. Come on in and be prepared to have your memories jerked at every corner.
Where To Buy From Us
We are located within Al’s Emporium, at The Piece Hall, Halifax, HX1 1RE.

However, if you can’t visit us in the shop, watch out for items we feature online.
of high quality and lasting value, or showing the best and most typical characteristics of a particular type of thing, especially from the past:
The term ‘Vintage’ covers a multitude of things. Here at Stuffin’th’attic our constantly changing stock currently ranges mainly between the 1920’s to 1980’s. Items include an Ebony Brush & Mirror set, yesteryear Medical Apparatus, a Victorian Glass Dome, a charming Music Box, still working vintage radios, Brass ornaments and much much more.
Decorations, Nik Naks, or Ornaments. Whatever we call them, the things we choose to display around our home say a lot about who we are.
How our recent ancestors chose to decorate their homes with ‘things’ gives us a glimpse into the past. Every piece having a history, and perhaps holding memories of its previous owners. Come and see what memories are waiting for you. Whether its a Stirling Silver Bowl or a seaside holiday souvenir, each item meaning something to those that displayed it over the years.
Toys & Board Games
Most of us can’t fail to be moved by Toys from our childhood. Memories are instantly triggered. After all, Adults are only kids, grown up.
Stuffin’th’attic stock includes Collectors pieces, Boxed and Mint items, Film Merchandise and Memorabilia, and good old fashioned second hand, used, well played with Toys. How many times will you say the often heard word… “I used to have one of those!”
something made in an earlier period that is collected and considered to have value because it is beautiful, rare, old, or of high quality:
Beautiful pieces of furniture pass through our door regularly. Coming to us from around the country and usually not staying long before they are spotted and taken to new loving homes. Our current stock ranges from the 1780’s upwards. Come and see what we have that will fit into that little corner of your home.
“Jewellery is like the perfect spice…. It always compliments what’s already there”
Jewellery is another item we all gather over time. However, most gets passed down to the next generation, which makes available Vintage Jewellery extra special. Stuffin’th’attic Jewellery ranges from Costume to the occasional high end items. Gold, Antique Rings,
Cufflinks and Watches are among our current stock.
How many tomorrows would have been lost if nobody had stepped forward to do something about it yesterday?
For those interested in Military history we have a small collection WW1 and WW2 historic pieces, including genuine Uniforms, Equipment and interesting Personnel Kit items.
There’s so much to see that only a visit to Stuffin’th’attic would do justice to pieces of history it contains.
However, these images will give you a taste of what’s gathered over the years…..
